Letting go and letting God

Its amazing how listening to God can be a unique experience. God was speaking to OG about blessing someone today when he heard of their situation. This sounds easy on the surface but you know its not always easy to let go of what is in your hand to see what God will give you next to use for his kingdom. So, OG called me and told me what God was dealing with him on and asked me if it was ok if he blessed someone with $500 today. In fact, he said he had already agreed to do what God told him to do. I told him that I was not getting between him and what God told him to do. Thats between them. Anyway, he tells me he gets home and there is an unclaimed property form in the mail that he called about today. Turns out there is a $3000 check that we never received from 4 years ago. Isn't God amazing????? We could have never received that blessing. It was from some stock that wasn't worth much when his grandmother gave it to him in the 80's. Sometimes good things follow you from back in the day.

THAT IS CRAZY!!!!! God is AWESOME!! Gah, He really is. When I got home yesterday, I had a $75 check on my bed from my sister, and then when I got home tonight, I got another check for $100.

God is AMAZING. He really is. It's crazy how when He wants you somewhere, He provides the whole way!

Thank you for sharing that Mrs. Paula!! LOVE YOU!

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! said...

Ohmygoodness! Wow! God is just awesome. I had something similar happen to me once: I was in St. Francisville for a Saturate service, and I had been really struggling vocally (Rapping, properly.. Yeah..) And so I just gave it to God, and that night He just fave it back! It was soo cool! :] That's so awesome! I can't wait for camp!!!!! TWO DAYYYYYYYSS!
