So I have the brand new Hillsong CD but it's a copy so Im not real sure what the name of this song is. If I had to guess I would say "Lead me to the Cross." Anyway check out these lyrics. I keep saying them over and over in my mind:

Lead me to the cross
Where you love poured out.
Bring me to my knees.
Lord, I'll lay me down.
Rid me of myself

Oh lead me,
Lead me to the cross.

This is my prayer that each day I would die more and more to self. What a selfless act of love as he was led to the cross. When I sing , "Lead me to the cross(with the cd of course), I feel so unworthy yet so thankful for of such an act of love. It really leaves me thinking of what he was feeling when he was being led to the cross. As I sing "lead me to the cross, I feel such a peace knowing that the blood that was shed at the cross covers me always. Yet as he was being lead to the cross what was he singing. We know he asked the Father was there any other way for this to be done. We see it in Matt 26:39

He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground, praying, “My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

I just can't help but think what fear and anguish that he was facing at that time but yet he continued on with such a beautiful, selfless act of love.
